I’m hoping to get a raised-bed garden soon. We’re still trying to regrade our backyard that was previously woods and boulders. It’s been an ongoing process over the last year or so, in between other projects. I’m determined to get it finished this summer, so I can start building some raised-bed boxes in the fall for next spring. I might try the Charles Dowding method as well. Our soil is way too rocky to be tilling or digging in. It’s hard enough just trying to plant trees and berries.

Living WAY out in they country (14 miles to any business with a cash register,) now retired and living 1,200+ miles from the Mega city in the deep South, were I wore a Badge for 30+ tears, I got a feeling I’ll be planting a much bigger garden next year!

you didn’t put any soylent green in there, did you. Just kidding. Looks awesome
Really Cool! Would you have an idea for Tomato Cages? Here in Colorado Springs, we have a 90-100 day growing season: Includes freezing in June, and hail always a possibility. I believe you are in Tennessee? Went around that State last year, and could move!mLast month went to Kentucky: Could live there easily! Thanks MD! Jeff
You are way ahead of our planting in Northeast Washington State š We have a much shorter growing season š Looks great! We have 4 4×8 planters and they work great! Will be building more!
