Folding Fat Tire Electric Bike

January 11, 2023 M.D. Creekmore

I didn’t think that I’d like riding an electric bike but here we are and I now own two… this one was delivered a few days ago and I just got it put together today. Assembly took me about 45-minutes from the time I opened the box to putting the seat on.

The bike is the Jasion EB7 2.0 Electric Bike (click here to check the current price on Amazon, or at the companies website) ,and it does look sharp. Looking forward to putting some miles on this one…

My two electric bikes…

But like electric cars what is the replacement battery cost ? I’d rather have a regular bike or a horse lol

This is for emergency evacuation, not long-term sustainable transportation. Do you have a horse and a regular bicycle? Do you breed horses?

I agree Sheri and also like Steve’s comment. Add to that electric bikes, while recharging, have been known to catch on fire! I do admire MD’s mechanical abilities, willingness to test things out, and amazing resourcefulness. Amazing/ wise man!

That’s right my stand on electric scooter almost caught my house on fire while charging it! If I was not looking right at it when it happened I might have lost everything and while my home insurance was lapsed…..and cell phone was not working either.

I got home insurance again, got a new cell phone and finally ordered a new scooter for $2,500 that goes 45 mph and a real range of 40 miles.

        Be careful, stay frosty

I would trust a regular bike over a electric one . if your going to use a electric bike why not just buy a motorcycle.

Because electric bike is light, quiet, portable, cheaper, no insurance, no motorcycle license, no tags, less tax, can be easily put into a truck bed and can be charged with the sun.

This is the exact one I thought about getting, I still have not decided, I don’t want to give in to the new green deal bs, however should we become unable to obtain gasoline I will have transportation, but I have 2 questions, will a jackery explorer 100 charge it and will it fit into a metal trash can that has been converted into a faraday cage?

I don’t want to be part of the green BS either but I was buying electric scooters starting 15 years ago so I’m not going to stop because of this new agenda baloney. They are great to see what’s happening in your area quietly and discreetly.
      And other reasons.

Cool. I could definitely use one of them, since I turned 50 today, easier to ride than my regular bike. Man, I feel like an old fart! 😂 Thanks for all you do M.D. 🙏 💘

Thank you for electric bike info. Here in suburban Calabasas, California this might become useful. One friend bought a scooter and uses in abound the building complex and shopping centers of Warner Center.

While bugging out, if there is an EMP, at least you will still have wheels to continue. I’d imagion it would be hard to push up grade. Good luck!

Good looking bikes M.D. The only thing electric I ever drove is a golf cart, lol. But I’d truly like to try one of those machines. Maybe you could do some reveiw videos to let us know what you think, and how they “pan out” over time for you. And, I think maybe, a solar charging outfit would be a great idea, if feasable. One never knows how much ground they may need to cover in a “bad situation”. Good feature, that luggage rack, also. Keep us updated on these things please. God bless.
