Creek: as part of one’s ” Advanced Directive “, when we are hospitalized, this is a mandatory document! I would/will have it notarized as well for a mens of security and that you are serious! You will state also that when you are discharged from any Hospital, you will go to the Medical Secretary and have the charting from your stay copied so you may see if they stuck some poopoo into your body. I have a friend who is in the medical field – he was told yesterday that if he takes the shot and get sick, they will pay for his time off and it won’t count against his vacation. However, if he didn’t take the shot and gets sick he has to use his vacation time or take time off unpaid. Unfortunately, he decided to take the shot as he can’t afford to not have a paycheck. So one way or another they are forcing people into a corner to get the shot.

well, looks like today the British are finding out the virus is mutating, but i guess the vaccine could still help prevent getting it……….maybe. Anyway, as i used to say when i did inspections, “Hi we are from the Government, we are here to protect you from yourself, you can trust us, we are the Government”. in a i was joking but also kind of being serious.

I am a co-owner and take care of HR issues, and our HR lawyer said that if someone raises a religious objection, the Company is required (under federal law) to assume it is a legitimate objection unless the company has a concrete reason to think otherwise. In other words, if you never talk about this kind of thing at work and you say that you have a religious objection to it, they will have a harder time proving otherwise than if you talk about political stances against vaccines at work. If you do that, they have grounds to question your “religious objection”.

The other way to get an exemption to a mandatory vaccine policy is if you have a note from your doctor saying that because of allergies you should not take the vaccine, that is pretty cut & dried.

Personally, I am waiting for the J&J vaccine, it seems like a traditional vaccine, no mrna. Probably still a risk but from what I’ve read seems fine.
